We’ve heard you loud and clear.

Over the past months, as local public schools in Santa Rosa have faced consolidation and closures, many families have reached out to us with one urgent question: “What options do we have for our middle school-aged children?” The outcry has been clear, and the need for a safe, nurturing, and academically rigorous middle school has never been greater.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce that Quest Forward is expanding to open a middle school this August!

Our commitment has always been to serve our community and provide a learning environment where every student can thrive. The decision to open a middle school was driven by the needs of families facing uncertainty in their children’s education due to the closure of local middle schools like Santa Rosa Middle and Herbert Slater Middle School, and the upcoming closure of Hilliard Comstock Middle School.

We are proud to offer a new home for middle schoolers right here in Santa Rosa — a small, supportive, and personalized learning environment designed to foster curiosity, resilience, and academic excellence.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there. The Press Democrat recently featured our announcement in a wonderful article highlighting how Quest Forward is stepping up to fill the educational gap caused by school closures in the area. They captured perfectly our community-focused spirit and the hope this new program brings to families searching for alternatives.

Here’s what Principal Kris Davison said in the article:
“This isn’t about expansion — it’s about stepping up when families are losing options.”

The new middle school will be housed on the upper floor of our beautiful two-story campus, with the high school continuing to thrive below. We already have enthusiastic pre-enrollment from families eager to join us and look forward to welcoming even more students this fall.

If you’re a parent searching for a safe, innovative, and student-centered middle school option, we invite you to learn more about Quest Forward and join our growing community.

Thank you to the Press Democrat for sharing our story and helping us spread the word!
