Kaia has followed her passion for animals through service at Mini Cat Town, where she’s already completed 55 volunteer hours working hands-on with cats and learning from the on-site vet. Her goal is to become a veterinarian and attend UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

🏆 Intersession Finale: Day 10: Capstone Presentations
We are overflowing with pride after witnessing the incredible growth of our seniors today. 💙
They stood before their loved ones, mentors, teachers, administrators, and the entire student body to share their capstone presentations, each one a powerful reflection of their journey.
Our seniors spoke honestly about their experiences, the challenges they’ve faced, and what they’ve learned about themselves over the past four years. They beautifully tied it all together with where they are headed next, reminding us just how far they’ve come.
Tears were shed, a meal was shared, and the room was filled with happiness, gratitude, and undeniable pride. We couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve accomplished or of how confidently and thoughtfully they spoke today.

Sparks of curiosity everywhere! Students spent the day immersed in hands-on learning at @thetechinteractive , exploring how science and technology shape the world around us.
Students invested in an advanced physics class, where they designed and built their own roller coasters, while others explored physics through a golf swing simulation, seeing forces, motion, and energy in action.
They also explored immersive exhibits in:
🌍 Solve for Earth – climate science in action
🚀 AI Space Exploration
🏥 The Health Technology Center

🌿 Intersession Day 3: Serving our Community at Fitch Mountain
Today in Healdsburg, students took learning outside and into the community by helping remove an invasive species known as French Broom at Fitch Mountain. This plant contributes to local wildfire risk and strips the soil of nitrogen—making this work both meaningful and impactful.
Students rolled up their sleeves, earned prizes, and even took time to admire a few critters before safely releasing them back into their habitat. A powerful day of hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, teamwork, and leadership in action.
