A Day in the Boots of a Firefighter
QFHS student Rene joined the Santa Rosa Fire Department for a firefighting exploration day. He spent time with a team of dedicated professionals and saw the courage, skill, and teamwork that’s required to protect our community.
Rene’s day was full of hands-on experiences, including getting a first-hand look at the tools and technology firefighters use daily.

Our Cultural Spanish students brought the flavors of Spain to life by cooking up traditional paella, a rice dish, and pan con tomate, toasted bread with tomato, garlic, olive oil, and salt.
The room was full of amazing aromas, as students practiced teamwork and enjoyed lots of tasting!
