Kris Davidson

Kris Davison, Director

Kris is a proud Sonoma County native who is deeply committed to the education and success of local youth. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, along with credentials in both General and Special Education for grades K-12. As a mother of five, Kris understands the importance of providing students with the resources, guidance, and experiences that will help them thrive academically and personally. Her years of experience as an educator and leader have shaped her vision of inclusive, forward-thinking education that empowers students to realize their full potential. As the Director of Quest Forward High School, Kris helps shape the next generation of leaders and innovators, fostering an environment where students are inspired to embrace learning, overcome challenges, and achieve success.

James Troupis, Chief of Schools

James is the Chief of Schools, responsible for leading the development of our growing school network. He brings over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, principal, district leader, and edtech start-up founder. James was the founder and principal of Gary Comer College Prep on Chicago’s South Side; with 100% college enrollment and city-leading ACT growth, he won the Ryan Award as the nation’s top principal. He was also the Chief People Officer at Noble Schools in Chicago and co-founder of OpenSeat, an organization that helps schools provide personalized, one-to-one, social-emotional support to students.
